Kenneth Miles Havig, 67, of Bristow, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at his home in Bristow. He was born December 6, 1948, in Hampton, Iowa to Junior and Marlene (Wearda) Havig. Kenny graduated from Dumont High School. He was united in marriage to Patty Mason on June 21, 1988, in Hampton, Iowa. Kenny was a Sergeant for the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Redneck Trailer Supplies in Hampton. Kenny was a member of the Dumont American Legion and was affiliated with the New Hope Parish of the United Methodist Church - Dumont Center. He enjoyed camping, hunting, racing, and vacationing at Wisconsin Dells. Kenny also enjoyed singing to his girls (even though he didn't have a voice) and gave unconditional love to his family. He is survived by his wife Patty Havig of Bristow, daughters Jennifer (Jeff) Hamilton of Clive, Kari (Andy) Rohlfs of Jolley, Lisa (Jeff) Trainer of Mason City, Amanda (Jeff) Kelley of Alden, mother Marlene Havig of Dumont, brother Larry (Deone) Havig of Dumont, 13 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his special dog Ginger.
