Donald "Don" Rover, 90, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away August 10, 2016, at the Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton, Iowa. He was born March 10, 1926, in Greene, Iowa, to John and Minnie (Kusian) Rover. Don attended Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City, Iowa. He was united in marriage on October 12, 1947, in Nora Springs, Iowa, to Fannie Mae Flessner. Don worked as a mechanic for Franklin County. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton, Iowa. Don enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and took pride in his yard. If something needed fixing, Don could do it - he could fix anything. He is survived by his wife Fannie Mae Rover of Hampton, IA, son Gary Rover of Klamath Falls, OR, son Wayne (Betty) Rover of Cedar Rapids, IA, daughter Debra Rover of Jacksonville, FL, son Craig (Diane) Rover of Ames, IA, brother LeRoy Rover of Charles City, IA, brother Larry Rover of Independence, MO, ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
