Barbara Ann Clark

Barbara Ann Clark, 93, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Thursday morning, August 25, 2016, at the Maquoketa Care Center. A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, August 29, 2016 from the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa. Barbara Ann Donielson was born on March 10, 1923 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Paul L. and Trula F. (Smith) Donielson. She grew up in Maquoketa and was a graduate of Maquoketa High School. In 1944 she graduated from Mercy School of Nursing. She married Lloyd H. Clark on November 22, 1946 in Maquoketa, Iowa. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2005. Barbara had worked as a Registered Nurse for many years , as well as the bookkeeper for Clark Construction. Those left to honor Barbara's memory include nephews, Chris and Eric Donielson; a step-daughter Carol (Merlyn) Yeager of Maquoketa, IA; 3 step-grandchildren; and 7 step-great-grandchildren.
