Theresa Maly Ziegler

WAUNAKEE-Theresa Maly Ziegler, age 87, died on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on September 22, 1928,in the Town of Dane to Hubert and Elizabeth ( Statz) Maly. She married Marvin Ziegler on May 1, 1948, at St. Martin's Church in Martinsville. They lived the first eight years of their marriage on the Ziegler home farm and then moved to the family farm near Dane. She was a member of St. Norbert's Catholic Church in Roxbury. Survivors include her children, Wayne (Marlene), Sharon, Larry (Marilyn), Gerry, Allen, Rose (Herbert) Karls, Dennis (Mary Jo), Lavern (Sue), Lynn (Dave) Deans, Ken (Jean), and Bill; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Hy (Jim) Miller; three brothers, Gerald (Dorothy) Maly, Duane (Ruth) Maly and Sil (friend, Kathy) Maly; and also sister-in-law, Nell Bower, and many nieces and nephews. . The family wishes to thank Fr. Jerry Zhanay, Fr. Alex Navarro, and Fr. Laverne Meier, and also Agrace HospiceCare for the care provided to their Mother. According to Theresa's wishes, there will not be a visitation. Memorials may be made to the family for Masses to be offered for her soul. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Aug 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St Norberts Catholic Church 8944 County Rd Y in Roxbury. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
