Rupert George Daley 88 of Miami Florida died peacefully on Thursday 25th August 2016 at 6:21am after a long illness.
Born on the 25th of December 1927 in Hammerton St Anne's Jamaica Rupert the eldest of Clarence and Mabel's six children attended Charlton Primary and Secondary school. He graduated at age 16, and went on to serve as an apprentice cobbler under the tutelage of Mr George Moses, later becoming a master shoemaker.
Rupert then spent a couple of years in Milwaukee and Florida working for the sugar cane industry and upon his return to Jamaica; met and married Dorothy, the love of his life.
In 1955 Rupert migrated to England and spent many years working and rearing his children.
It was during this time that he gave his life to the Lord, completed his deaconship and then became an evangelical preacher.
1986 saw Rupert's relocation to Florida where he enjoyed the reunion of life with his two siblings.
