Diana K. Hunt

Diana Kathleen HUNT (nee LOMBARD), cruelly taken from us on September 8, 2016. Born in South Africa in 1949, the eldest of five, she is survived by her two sons - Clint and Lee - and her sister Carol and brother Andre. Diana was a kind, loving, wonderfully warm and generous person who came to the USA in 2007 in search of a better life. She had an unfailing drive and determination and a strong work ethic which she instilled in her sons. She loved the simple things in life, like having her family around her and cooking and eating together. Watching the birds in her backyard also gave her great joy. Her unique eye for the color and detail in nature never ceased to amaze and inspire her family and friends. Diana's radiant smile was a joy to behold and she had a special way about her that warmed people's hearts. Over 40 years ago her father-in-law accurately described Diana as an "absolute angel" and that is exactly how everyone who knew her felt about her. A memorial service is to be held at 12 noon on Saturday September 24 at Calvary Chapel, Ft Lauderdale Florida, South Banquet Hall.
