Christopher E. Lambert, Jr; 69 of Pembroke Pines, Florida, formerly of Miami and Stratford, CT; died on September 17, 2016 following a brief illness. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on October 19, 1946, son of Christopher E. Lambert, Sr and Ethel (Johnson) Lambert. Raised and educated in Stratford, CT. Following high school, Chris enlisted into the United States Air Force. He then moved to Miami, Florida and worked as a master mechanic for Eastern Airlines. Chris later entered into law enforcement working for Broward Sheriff's Office for many years, before retiring in 2005 and went to work as a police officer in Golden Beach, Florida, a position he held up until his passing. A sports fan, Chris was a huge fan of the Miami Hurricanes, along with the Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees and the Florida Marlins. In earlier years he coached baseball and football. Chris owned several classic cars and enjoyed working on those in his spare time. Survived by his two sons, Justin D. (Anne) Lambert and Scott E. nd Jason Lambert. His beloved wife, Brenda (Sperring) Lambert died in 2002. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 30th from 4:00 ~ 5:000 P.M. at the Golden Beach Pavilion, 399 Ocean Blvd, Golden Beach 33160 follow a visitation and reception from 5:00 P.M. ~ 7:00 P.M. at the Pavilion. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
