Carmelita Gonzalo Turalba

Carmelita Lita Gonzalo Turalba passed away August 1, 2015 in Renton, Washington at the age of 72. She was born on April 13, 1943 in Tarlac City, Philippines to Sergio and Marcelina Gonzalo. Lita graduated salutatorian from Sta. Ignacia High School, Class of 1959. She attended college at FEATI University in Manila, Philippines and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Lita passed a board exam to become a Registered Chemist. From there, she taught chemistry, physics and biology in high school and college. Lita fell in love and married Ben Orate Turalba. Together, they enjoyed 43 years of marriage until her passing. Lita was kind-hearted and always wanted the best for her family. With the thought of having a better lifestyle, Lita, alongside with Ben, worked hard in hope that one day they would be able to achieve this goal. A great opportunity came when she was granted a professional visa, and was able to relocate herself and her family to the United States.
