Ed ?Cold Turkey? Sheehan died Sunday afternoon at his home in Butte, MT surrounded by his loving family.

Ed was born April 4, 1939 in Butte to Patrick and Catherine Crilly Sheehan. He attended St. Mary?s grade school and Boys Central High. He served in the Army as a medic in Germany. Upon his return to Butte, he went to work in the mines and later in the construction field. He later became the owner of the Goodwill Tavern located on North Montana Street.

Ed married Anne Shea on September 15, 1962, in St. Mary?s Church in Butte.

He enjoyed the pastimes of playing horseshoes, fishing, bowling and shooting pool. Ed also enjoyed watching NASCAR races with his brother Tom. He valued the time he spent with his many friends at the Goodwill Tavern.

He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved infant daughter Tammy, mother and Father-In-Law, Bun and Ann O?Neill.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2000 after 5 P.M. at Duggan Dolan Mortuary in Butte, MT. A parish rosary service will follow at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 A.M. in St. Patrick?s Church. Interment of Cremated Remains will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
