Born March 21, 1919 in McMillin, WA. Passed away on March 21, 2001 in Edmonds, WA. Florence graduated from Sumner High School. She met her husband of 39 years, Omar Helseth. They moved to Seattle where she spent most of her life. Her husband Omar preceded her in death. She married Ben White to whom she was married for thirteen years. He preceded her in death in 1984. She spent the rest of her years married to Fay Leihy who preceded her in death. Florence was a lifetime member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Greenlake. She worked at the Hearthstone Retirement Home in Greenlake for 18 years. She loved making teddy bears. She is survived by her sons Dennis Susan, Lynn Berenice, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, and daughter in law Janet Helseth. She is preceded in death by her son Alan and her sister Mildred Kirk. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at 1PM, Bethany Lutheran Church, 7400 Woodlawn Ave NE, Seattle.
