William Fred Southers

WILLIAM FRED SOUTHERS, 87, passed away March 16, 2002 in Seattle, WA. He was born August 10, 1914 in Columbia, S.C. the son of Arthur and Florence Gallman Southers. William retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant, serving in WWII in C.B.I. Following his military career, William was a Police Officer for both The University of S. Florida and The Tampa International Airport. William was active in Temple Terrace Lodge #240 in Tampa, FL., as well as The Order of Easter Star Chapter #277 . William is survived by his wife of 62 ? years Esther Southers; daughters E. Suzanne Knoblet and Arnette Rattleff; grandchildren Rebecca and Carolyn Rattleff; and 4 great-grandsons. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at 4pm and will be conducted at Evergreen-Washelli Chapel, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle.[more]
