Margaret "Peg" Mary MATSON Peg Matson, a loving mother and grandmother known for her quiet acts of service and generous heart, died August 11th, 2010.She was 83. Born May 6, 1927, to Timothy Francis Cavanaugh and Verne Merle Cavanaugh (Feely) in Rouseville, Pennsylvania, Peg graduated from Colestock High School in Titusville, Pennsylvania, in 1946. In 1949, she married Roy Alfred Matson in Seattle. They raised a family of five children in Shoreline where Peg was active in supporting her church, Luther Memorial. Roy passed away in 1986. In 2004, Peg moved from her Shoreline home to live with her daughter, Virginia. There, she enjoyed family visits, making new friends and volunteering her time to support her grand-children's schools. Peg is survived by five children; sons, Barry (Kathi) Matson of Denver, CO, Dale (Lynda) Matson of Marysville, Tim (Jerri) Matson, of Everett, Jim Matson of Everett, Virginia (Paul) Greenwood of Puyallup. Grandchildren number 11 as well as two great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Lucille Slike, Ovid, NY, Mae Allen, Pittsburgh, PA, and brothers Tim Cavanaugh, Titusville, PA and Tom Cavanaugh, Meadville, PA.
