It is such a strange reality when someone we love passes on. There is an emptiness that burrows its way into our hearts. We all take different paths trying to find a way to fill that emptiness and eventually we realize that our paths lead us back to each other. We recognize that we are not alone; in fact, we are surrounded by our cherished ones constant love. They fill us with it every time they give us a hug, a smile or encouraging word. Our beloved mother, Connie Joy Trembly of Bellevue, WA passed from us on Saturday, March 3, 2012. She was born November 25, 1933 in Waterville, Maine...daughter to Charles and Lucille Joy. Connie was a loving mother of five.....Brenda Tvrdy(Birch Bay, WA), David Drinkwine(Irving, TX), Brad Drinkwine (Liberty Lake, WA) Cindy Bampton and Christy Nugent (Richland, WA). She was the proud Nana to 11 Grandchildren...Justin, Josh, Nicole, Ashley, David Jr., Katie, Jenny, Tyler, Abby, Anthony, Tanner and Great Grandmother to Peyton and Cooper. r could quite grasp the nuances of baseball. She instilled in us an interest in museums, ancestry, art, history, travel, books, politics and different cultures...and in general, just about making life fun. Early in her career she worked in broadcasting at KFKF Radio for King County business man, Kemper Freeman, Sr. Later she worked at KIRO Radio for radio personality Jim French. She retired from United Airlines after 25+ years of service in 2001. Her passion for travel took her to Portugal, Greece, Spain, Mexico, Morocco, Italy and also to Ireland where she was able to trace her birth family roots. We miss her so, but will remember her every time we look into each other's eyes. A private family gathering was held March 10, 2012. And, as per her wishes, her remains will be scattered over Puget Sound by way of the Washington State Ferry System.
