Eric Lee McPherson Eric peacefully left us April 24, 2008, surrounded by his family and pastor, 19 days after undergoing a stem cell transplant at the University of Washington Medical Center. Eric was born January, 27, 1949 in Palo Alto, California.
Eric is survived by his wife Peggy Kohnen, father Raymond McPherson, " adopted" mom, Norma Burt, two sisters Marilyn and Teeter, and two nephews Bryan Scott and Casey O'Dell. Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Mary McPherson.
After graduating in 1967 from Bellevue High School and attending Seattle University on a golf scholarship, Eric spent many years in Kona, Hawaii. His passion for the outdoors and landscaping was born in Hawaii. After returning to the Northwest, he owned and operated Brier Landscape.
Joined in marriage in 1995, Eric and Peggy enjoyed many years of RV camping with friends and their faithful labs, Kaika and Hula. Fishing was always a favorite pastime of Eric's, whether deep sea, salmon or fly.
