Robert Clayton Swanson

Robert Clayton SWANSON, BMC – retired, age 71, of Shoreline, passed away on September 19, 2008. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on March 13, 1937. Mr. Swanson retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 22 years of service before embarking on a 20 year career at Boeing. Robert also volunteered many hours of service at the Shoreline Police Department. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Janet "Kay" Swanson, son, Eric Swanson & wife Kathy, daughters, Kristy Hoff & husband Jeff, Terri DeRosier & husband Vince, Julie Swanson, 7 grandchildren, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Robert is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, September 26th at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home Chapel, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle, WA 98133. Interment will follow at Acacia Memorial Park. If desired, memorials may be made in Robert's memory to the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Research Fund in Care of the University of Washington Medical Center.[more]
