Heather Lee Marchant passed away peacefully on December 2, 2008, at Providence Everett Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 12, 1976, in Fresno, CA to Scott and Catherine Nielsen. She was the oldest of four children and attended Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
On February 9, 1995, she married Eric William Marchant in Marysville, WA, and they built a life together for nearly 14 years. They are the parents of five children and are actively involved in their community and church in Snohomish, WA. Heather enjoyed golf, painting & drawing, crafts, cooking, scrapbooking, reading, and watching movies, but the greatest joys of her life were her children and husband.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eric; sons, Camron, Terrin, Colin and Owen; daughter, Adyson; parents, Scott and Catherine Nielsen; sisters, Jessica Zak Heath and Michelle Alika Goo; brother, Juston Lacey Nielsen; in-laws, Frank and Julia Marchant; sisters-in-law, Michelle David Goodwin and Kali Gabe Barrio; brothers-in-law, David Rachel Marchant and Brent Marchant. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

n Saturday, December 6, 2008, a noon viewing will be followed by the funeral service at 1pm, at the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints church building in Marysville, WA, 9215 51st Ave NE. The burial service will be held immediately following at the Marysville Cemetery.
Heather was a talented and fun-loving person who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the "Heather Marchant" benevolent fund at any Key Bank.
