Arlene McDonald

Arlene McDonald, age 79 of Monroe, WA, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2014. She was born October 1, 1935 Salt Lake City, Utah to Edwin and Pearl Hoel. On September 24, 1960 she married the man she would spend the rest of her life with, Donald McDonald. Arlene enjoyed her family, flowers, ceramics, crocheting, knitting, making jam, canning fruit, baking pies and cookies. She loved camping and fishing with her family. Arlene also enjoyed hunting with her husband Don, living on the river and the view of the mountains from her home in Index. She was preceded in death by sons Edwin and Michael and parents Edwin and Pearl Hoel. A Funeral Service will be held at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home in Seattle on Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at 1:00pm. Committal will follow service. Chaplain Dale Amundsen will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to American Cancer Society in her honor.
