Edmund D. Whittington

Edmund Davy Whittington passed away at age 46 on November 17th after a courageous two year struggle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Edmund was born in Scranton, PA and resided in numerous east coast cities prior to his arrival in Seattle in 2006. In Seattle, he enjoyed employment at Bartell Drugs and volunteer work with organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the American Heart Association. He is survived by his mother, Catherine Whittington, and his uncle, Michael Simmonds of Utica, N.Y. as well as his aunt Ann Wrege and her husband, William Wrege of Middletown, CT. His father, William L. H. Whittington and his mother by marriage, Nancy K. Whittington reside in Seattle as does his sister, Lesley Whittington. His step-sisters, Leah Eckley and Ani Hoover reside in Phoenix, AR and Buffalo, NY, respectively. The family suggests donations in Edmund's memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to the American Heart Association. [more]
