Gregory Michael Moen

Gregory Moen, 39, passed away peacefully at home in Seattle, Washington on July 26, 2015. Greg was born on June 25, 1976 in Kansas City, MO to Philip and Marilyn (James) Moen. They moved to Portland in 1990 and he graduated from the University of Portland in 1998. He earned his Master's in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington. He went on to work at HDR as an engineer consultant. He was steadfast and optimistic in the way he lived his life - he loved to travel the world and eat good food, especially breakfast. And above all, Greg loved spending time with his 5 year old son Braden. He courageously and stubbornly fought his brain cancer for 11 years and never lost hope throughout treatment. Greg kept his sense of humor to the end. He will forever be missed and loved by those he leaves behind including his wife Jenny, son Braden, mother Marilyn, father Philip, brother Andrew and many other family and friends.
