Mary Blecha

Graced with a full life, filled with adventure and love, Mary passed away into the loving arms of her savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday June 8, 2013. Just 3 days short of her 99th birthday. She was born in Coleman, Alberta, Canada on June 11, 1914. Mary spent most of her childhood in Thorhild, Alberta. and was the only child of George and Nellie Bahrychuk. In 1940 she married her sweetheart, Jerry Blecha (from Nampa, Idaho) her husband of 54 years. They eventually found themselves in Ballard, WA where they planted their roots in life and real-estate. They started with Loyal Reality and later Jerry Blecha Reality. They enjoyed their life to the fullest. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, and is survived by her daughter Shirley Rodgers and Mary Ann Barnes (Deck), six grand children, and 13 loving great grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by all. Memorial service will be held at Evergree-Washelli (11111 aurora ave. n. seattle, wa 98133) on June 15, 2013 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Seattle Children's Hospital. [more]
