Lester J. Warby

Lester J. Warby Bothell - Lester J. Warby, 80 died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland of causes incident to age. He was born September 4, 1930 in bountiful, Utah, a son of Lester and Nellie Warby. He married Eleanor C. Lamphere on March 21, 1955. She died on September 9, 1993. Lester retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer on August 1, 1979 and then retired from the US Postal Service as a Letter Carrier on January 3, 1989. A lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he loved bowling, metal detecting, bingo, horse races, and spending time with his family. Surviving are his son Lester (Margie) Warby, Bothell, WA; and three grandsons, Lester J. Warby IV, Bothell, WA; Samuel Kenneth Warby, Bothell, WA; Maxwell William Warby, Bothell, WA. Also surviving are two sisters, Arlene Stevens, Wilsonville, OR; Delores (Dodie) Moore, Auburn, CA and two brothers, Stanley (Cindy) Warby, Portland, OR; Lyle L. (Lori) Warby, Layton, Utah. [more]
