She was an Avid sports fan naming her first born after her favorite player of all time, Warren Spahn of the Milwaukee Braves. She loved visits to the Casino and travel. She voyaged through the Panama Canal, dug her toes in the sandy beaches of Tahiti, explored Alaska, and honky-tonked in Branson Missouri with her sisters. When relaxing she enjoyed reading, knitting, playing board/card games, gardening and watching the stock market! Above all she was the Matriarch of the family, always there to help in whatever way was necessary! Elaine was a very special lady, loved by everyone who knew her. In her busy 86 years she touched and enhanced many lives. She will be genuinely missed, and fondly remembered. Elaine M. Hinze was Born in Sagola, Mi, population 93, but was a long time resident of the Terrace (since 1968). Elaine was preceded in Death by her Husband of 50 years, T.G. Pete Hinze and her older sister, Eleanor Cates. She is survived by: her two sons, Warren Hinze (Wynnmarie) of Lynnwood, and Karl Hinze (Tabetha Grunke) of Mountlake Terrace, a daughter, Karen Hinze (Robert Daubanabo) of Mountlake Terrace, her younger sister Elvira (John) Patritto of Wisconsin, Daughter In-Law Barbara Hinze (Cary) of Battle Ground and Grandchildren (Kyle, Kelsey, Erika, Bryan, Laura, Tonye and David).
