Robert (Bobby) Francis Dymek, 51, of St.Petersburg, FL (originally from Philadelphia, PA), passed away on Monday, October 17th 2016, at the VA Medical Hospital in Miami, FL.
Bobby was born on June 11th, 1965, in Philadelphia, PA. Son of Robert (Bob) and Phyllis (Hojnacki) Dymek.
Master Chief Dymek was a 30 year retired veteran of the United States Coast Guard. His accomplishments included the commissioning of a new Coast Guard cutter, the Richard Etheridge, his advancement in ranking to Master Chief, and being awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for exceptional performance of duties in 2014.
He is survived by his parents, Phyllis and Bob, his sister, Donna Condon, his wife, Terri, and his two children, daughter, Megan, and son, Jake.
Bobby was truly loved and respected by those who knew him, and his presence will be dearly missed.
The family will be holding memorial services for Bobby on Sunday, October 23rd, 2016 at Fred Hunters Funeral home, 6301 Taft street, Hollywood, FL.
A viewing will be held from 1 to 3, with military services beginning at 3. A reception will follow on site. All events are open to the public.
