Lenora "Lennie" Roush, 67, of Keokuk, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family, following a brief battle with cancer.
Lennie was born May 22, 1949, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Cleo E. and Deloris Fox Thomas. She married Kenneth Robert Simpson on September 13, 1967 and later married Thomas Roush on February 1, 1987 in Mud River Baptist Church, West Virginia. She was a life long resident of Keokuk area. She was co-owner/operator of the Green Tambourine for seventeen years. Lennie was a member of Living Waters Assembly of God Church and served in her church.
Lennie is survived by her daughter Angela Simpson of Keokuk, Iowa; five grandchildren: Shawna Humphrey, Dustin Humphrey, Kellsie (Andrew) Lear, Preston Simpson and Blaine Simpson; two brothers: George Thomas of Kansas City, Missouri and Robert Sales of Centerville, Iowa and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of her Life will be at 1:00 PM Monday, October 31, 2016, at Living Waters Assembly of God with Pastor Larry Wallingford officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
There will be no visitation.
