David Huse

Dr. David Huse, 63, of Carmel, died on October 30, 2016. David was beloved Clinical Assistant Professor of Comparative and Applied Anatomy in the Department of Medical Sciences at the School of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University, Lafayette. David was born on February 27, 1953 to Dr. Wm. Huse and Mary Habich Huse. He attended Cathedral High School, earned his DVM degree from Purdue in 1977, following an Internship at Cornell University and a Residency at the University of Illinois. He joined the Purdue faculty in 1983. David also earned a BS Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1988 and worked for 17 years at Riley Hospital before returning to teach at Purdue until his death. He was honored for his teaching excellence by the University on nine occasions in recent years. He served on the Board of the Cornea Research Foundation, Indianapolis. He is survived by his love, Chris Royce; a sister, Margaret Huse Jahns (Ivan); brothers, Dr. John M. Huse (Patricia), Kevin F. Huse (Ramona); nephews, Paul T. Jahns (Alyssa), Scott M.
