job was at the Clarinda Bowling alley setting up pins for a cent a pin. In 1964 he was hired by the city of Shenandoah, retiring from the water department in 2004 after 40 years of service to the community. After retirement he enjoyed helping people by doing odd jobs. Gary was a Shenandoah Volunteer Fireman for 20 years which he enjoyed very much. Gary enjoyed vacationing, camping, hunting, fishing, but true enjoyment was woodworking. He loved to watch his grandchildren in their many sporting events. He loved his family and friends whenever and wherever he was. He enjoyed his retirement being a "snowbird", spending part of the year in Arizona with Sharon, friends and family. Gary was preceded in death by his mother Betty Jean Erickson, step father Earl Erickson, first wife Jonna Rhea Fithen Glines and brother Ronald Glines. Survivors include his wife Sharon Glines, his beloved children, Kelli Glines Gould, Kandi Glines, Kathi Chandler and husband John; step sons, Derek Hogue and wife Tracy, Mark Hogue and wife Becky, Chris Hogue and wife Leslie, Tim Hogue and wife Jeana, grandchildren, Travis and Patty Roberts, Tyler and Jennifer Roberts, Devin and Jodie Hogue, Kaci Hogue and her friend Justin Sickler, Levi Gary Glines, Connell Racine, JD Gould, Jonah Chandler, 22 great-grandchildren, sisters Dianna Davison and husband Mike and Joyce Glines-Akers, brother Jim Erickson and wife Sue, many nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Celebration of life memorial service will be held 10:30 am, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah. Memorial visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 pm, Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah. Burial of cremains will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah. Memorials may be directed to the Shenandoah Fire Department or First Christian Church of Tarkio.
