A funeral service for Roger L. Hough will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM at Oakcrest Funeral Services of Algona with Reverend Mr. William Black officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Algona with military honors conducted by the Algona V.F.W. Post # 2541 and the Hagg-Turner American Legion Post #90.
Roger L. Hough was born December 30, 1943, in Rodman, son of Ed and Norma (Kober) Hough. He grew up in Plover graduating from Havlock Plover High School in 1962. Roger served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War serving as an Airman on the USS Enterprise.
Following his service, he moved to Algona and worked his entire career at Snap-On Tools. Roger was a true outdoorsman enjoyed fishing and taxidermy. He was devoted to the Algona VFW helping with all their activities and proudly being a part of their honor squad.
Roger L. Hough died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Kossuth Regional Health Center at the age of 72.
