MARY ANN MEREDITH MUSCATINE, Iowa - Mary Ann Meredith, 67, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at her home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017, at the St. Mathias Church. Honorary Bearers will be Nathan Meredith, Kevin Meredith, Justin Meredith, Aaron Meredith, Tom Nault, Jim Nault, Bob Nault, and Brian Hoblit. A time of food and fellowship will immediately follow the mass at Gannon Hall, 215 West Eighth Street. Burial will take place in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah, Wisconsin, at a later date. Visitation will be from 2 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2017, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home with a Rosary Prayer Service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mary Ann was born on June 27, 1949, in Neenah, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ervin Joseph and Lorraine Marie Charette Nault. She was baptized in the catholic faith at St. Margaret Mary Church, in Neenah. She graduated from Neenah High School. She married Dane L. Meredith on October 21, 1972, in Neenah. und. She cherished her family and enjoyed gardening, crafts, sewing, canning, and writing children's books for her dear grandchildren. She also enjoyed hiking and treasured the wonders of nature she enjoyed during her nature walks. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Dane L. Meredith of Muscatine; four sons, Nathan Meredith and fiancée, Kelly, of Minnesota, Kevin Meredith and wife, Melissa, of Minnesota, Justin Meredith and wife, Phuong, of Africa, and Aaron Meredith of Muscatine; one daughter, Adrienne Meredith and Brian Hoblit of California; three grandchildren, Zachary and Katherine Hoblit, and Emma Meredith; three brothers, Tom Nault and wife, Karen, of Ohio, Jim Nault and wife, Janice, of Virginia, and Bob Nault and wife, Melanie, of Wisconsin; three sisters, Barbara Kaiser and husband, Jeff, of Florida, Betty Wiedenhaft and husband, Jeff, of Wisconsin, and Nancy Nault of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
