Corey John Joseph Coomer, 24, after a lifelong battle with asthma, went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 3, 2011.
Corey loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, dirt bike and four wheeling. He loved raising animals, reptiles and vegetables. One of his dreams was to have a place with acreage to build a home and have animals.
Corey had a large group of family and close friends from around the Port Charlotte and Englewood area who have always been a support system to him. He looked to his aunt Dorothy Brown as a surrogate grandmother as Corey's grandparents all preceded him in death. Corey also lost his brother Eric Coomer to cancer many years ago.
He leaves behind his father and mother, Michael and Mary (Babington) Coomer, three brothers, Michael Coomer, Jr., Christian Williams, Michael (Christine) Williams; a sister, Barbara Williams; 5 nephews, Mikey, Kane, Kyle, Joey and Blake and a precious child he thought of his own, Hayden Rivero.
He also leaves behind a very special daughter Natalie Coomer and her mother Vanessa Russell, who he loved very dearly.
