Robert James Lindsay Robert James Lindsay 72, of Port Charlotte, Fla died Wednesday September 11, 2013 following a long illness. He was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and became the son of James and Katherine Lindsay. Bob Married Catherine Weaver on July 5, 1985 in Succasunna, N.J. and relocated to Port Charlotte in 1998 from Powder Springs, Ga. Bob graduated from the South Plainfield school system, South Plainfield, N.J. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1963 - 1965. Bob worked at First Financial Employee Services in Charlotte County, FL and Micropol as Chief Draftsman in Summit, N.J. for over 20 years. Bob is survived by his wife Catherine and two Stepdaughters: Cheryl Re (Robert Re), and Christine Teichert, Sister Linda Redfield, Bothers Peter Lindsay and Jack Kwitowski and nieces and nephew, and PopPop to Trevor, Kevin, Samantha and Shawn. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Catherine O'Hara and stepdaughter Susan Weaver. A Celebration of Life Service was held at 11:am Thursday September 26, 2013 at Davis Hepplewhite Funeral Home on Main Street, Succasunna. New Jersey. Interment was at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, NJ.
