Donna McBurney

Donna Uker McBurney, 73, of Kansas City, Kansas, a former Webster City resident, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Providence Medical Center at Kansas City. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Asbury United Methodist Church, with Rev. Laird R. Keever officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Donna Joy Uker, daughter of Gilbert and Beulah Brockert Uker, was born March 11, 1936 at Sioux City, Iowa. She received her education in the Webster City school system. She also attended Iowa State and the Iowa state Teachers College On July 30, 1960, she married Ronald John McBurney at the Asbury United Methodist Church. The couple resided at Webster City. Donna was a clerk at the Uker Sewing Center and a homemaker. Mr. McBurney died March 14, 1988. Donna continued to reside in Webster City until she moved to the Stratford Care Center for 2 years, then to Kansas City in July of 2009.
