JOHN JAMES RAY, ~Gone from our lives, forever in our hearts~ Born March 31, 1987 passed away on Thursday April 24, 2014. John graduated from Lemon Bay High School in 2004, with honors. He attended USF for 2 years. John is survived by his parents, Michael J. and Laura Ray, both of Englewood, his Brother Michael P. Ray, of Sarasota, FL. His maternal grandparents, Paul and Geri Basilotto, and paternal grandparents, John and Sharon Ray, uncles, Michael Basilotto, James Basilotto, Paul Basilotto and Mark Ray and their families. John grew up in Englewood and participated in many sports and made lifelong friends. His love of sports enabled him to help our community by coaching several youth organizations. John will be remembered by many for his charismatic charm, his beautiful smile, his love for his family and friends. John was a server and bartender for his parents' restaurant, Ricaltini's Bar & Grille. [more]
