He was born June 12, 1934 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Joseph and Annie Sylvia Jacintho. He moved to the Englewood area 14 years ago from New Bedford, Massachusetts. He retired from Teaching in 1993 from the New Bedford School District and from Charlotte High School of Punta Gorda, Florida in 1994. He was a Graduate from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, formerly New Bedford Technical Institute with a degree as a Textile Chemist and later attended Bridgewater State College where he received a degree as a Secondary Education Science Teacher. He was a veteran of the Massachusetts National Guard and the Army and Air Force Reserves. He was a member of the Rotonda Golf and Country Club where he enjoyed golfing with family and friends. He also was an avid reader. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Marie A.
