He moved to the Englewood area 3 years ago from Naples, Florida where he was the former owner of East Trail Storage and Boat Yard of Naples. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Sallie of Englewood; his son Donald P. Claudia Landis, Jr. of Labelle, Florida; 6 daughters, Susan Clarence Fleck of Naples, Deborah L. Michael V. Cooper of Naples, Cynthia Landis of El Jobean, Florida, Sallie Landis of Venice, Wendy Jeff Cervi of Cortland, Ohio and Amy Clark of Naples; one sister Meryl Campbell of Frenchtown, New Jersey; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. VISITATION will be on Saturday, January 20, 2007 from noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Landis residence at 1817 Whispering Pines Circle, Englewood.
