Ronald E. Morris, 75, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Friday May 4, 2007. Mr. Morris was born on November 21, 1931 in Winter Haven, Florida to James and Opal Dull Morris. Mr. Morris moved to Port Charlotte 6 years ago coming from Mattoon, Illinois. He was a member of St. Elmo Masonic Lodge, St. Elmo, Illinois, and a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Army. Survivors include in wife of 53 years, LaQuita K. Morris of Port Charlotte, Florida; his son, Douglas Morris of Phoenix, AZ; his daughter, Tracy Jeffrey Johnson of Los Angeles, CA; his sister, Mary Ann Gibbs of Floridana, FL; his grandson, Salvador Johnson.
