James Allen Bobo

James Allen Bobo, 75 of Punta Gorda passed away on April 11, 2008. Born in Sand Mountain, AL on August 17, 1932 the son of Joseph Zeb Bobo and Eloise Chadwick Bobo. He attended school in Dade County GA. And joined the Coast Guard where he was stationed in St. Petersburg, FL. He was a Master Mason Shriner and member of the Punta Gorda Elks. He attended the Rising Fawn Georgia Baptist Church. He retired from DuPont after 42 years. He married Patricia Ann Goulding in the United Methodist Church in 1955. He and Patricia Ann resided in Trenton, GA until the moved to Punta Gorda in 2000. He is survived by his wife, daughter Elta Crabtree, son Allen Bobo, grandchildren, Brieanna Foster, Erik Bobo, Matt Bobo, Carissa Crabtree, Christian Crabteree and great grandson Joseph Austin Bobo. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from the Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, Punta Gorda Chapel at 12:30 PM.
