David C. Burlew

David Chefflns Papa Burlew, 55, of Port Charlotte. FL passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Lee Memorial Hospital at 11:10 pm. He was born January 13, 1954 in Wilmington, Delaware. He moved his family to Port Charlotte, September of '84. David loved boating, fishing, the beach, his family, BBQ-ing and sailing with Captain Morgan. Dave is survived by his wife, Gina, his three sons, Jason, Luke, Ryan; grandchildren, Anthony, Mikayla, Destiny and Lysa. He is also survived by brother Harry and his family, Diane, Keith and Lyndie from Delaware and numerous other family members and many close loyal friends and about twenty young people who are like our sons and daughters. He was surrounded by family and friends when he crossed over to God taking a part of our hearts with him. We will miss his smile and silly face making and quiet gentle ways. He is missed greatly and always will be. A Visitation will be held 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Blvd., Pt Charlotte.
