ing porcelain figurines. Carol lived a full life, taking advantage of opportunities as they came to her. Her love for people, but especially her family always came through in whatever she attained. She lived her deep faith every day to the end. Carol is survived by her husband, Blaine, her children, son Mike (Sheri) grandchildren, Ryan, Katie and Megan all of Ames; daughter, Michelle, grandson Chance of Seabrook, NH, as well as her sister Ann (David) Teague of Melbourne, FL. Gathering of friends and family will be held at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care 414 Lincoln Way on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 3 -- 7pm. The family will be present from 5-7pm. Her memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 10 at First Evangelical Free Church at 2:00pm. Reception to follow.
