He was born September 6, 1920 in New York, New York to Haakin and Clara Salvesen Danielsen. He moved to the Englewood area 22 years ago from Middletown, New Jersey and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired Design Engineer for A.T. & T. Bell Labs. He was a Chalice Bearer, Lay Reader and member of St. David's Episcopal Church of Englewood. A member of the Englewood Masonic Lodge and the 7th Coast Guard District Auxiliary Division 8 and an avid painter. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maisie E. Danielsen; his son Paul O. Karen Danielsen of Virginia Beach, Virginia and his daughter, Claire Robert Smith of Langhorne, Pennsylvania and 5 grandchildren.
