James Thomas Fitzgibbons

James Thomas Fitzgibbons, 77, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away November 30, 2013. He was born January 22, 1936 in Chicago, IL to George and Mary Fitzgibbons. He worked in Law Enforcement for over 30 years with the Chicago Police Dept before retiring in 1986 to Punta Gorda. Jim enjoyed boating and classic cars and was an avid cat lover. He was a member of the Punta Gorda Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and believed in a Resurrection of life in God's coming kingdom. Per his request, there will be no memorial service rather, please remember Jim in your own a special way. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Jannice Fitzgibbons of Punta Gorda, FL; sister, AnnMarie Fitzgibbons of Atlanta, GA; brother-in-law, Thomas Kutz of Naperville, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.
