Gary Joseph Willis 47 of Port Charlotte, Florida died on December 14, 2008. He was born on May 18, 1961 in Moline, Illinois and came to Port Charlotte, Florida from Silvis, Illinois in 1985. Gary was a Flooring specialist. He was an avid fisherman, loved to read history books and loved rock and roll music. Gary was the youngest of seven children and of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his life partner, Sandy Killian of Port Charlotte, Florida; 2 sons, Andrew D. Willis and Daniel L. Willis both of Port Charlotte, Florida: 2 brothers, Rick Willis of Sebring, Florida and Greg Willis of Moline, Illinois; 4 sisters, Judy Willis of Berthoud, Colorado, Donna Minear of Sherrard, Illinois, Bonnie Begley of Kissimmee, Florida and Diane Vance of Charlotte, North Carolina, and his mother, Mary Willis of Kissimmee, Florida, also many nieces and nephews.
