Mary Jo Hunt

Mary Jo Hunt, 78, of Port Charlotte, FL died February 5, 2009. She was born October 18, 1930 in Jackson, MI and spent her formative years there. She moved to Florida in 1987 from Kalamazoo, MI. During the 80's she worked as a "temp" clerical worker for the Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Mary Jo was a member of the St Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Heritage Oak Singers, enjoyed needlework and playing the piano. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donn Hunt of Port Charlotte, FL; children, Kathy Pat Traster of Cedarville, MI; David Sherri Hunt of Kalamazoo, MI; Joe Kim Hunt of Mattawan, MI; Doug Marcia Hunt of Richmond, VA; Bill Hunt of Kalamazoo, MI; Ken "K.C" Lisa Hunt of Portage, MI and Ann Keith Saunders of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Chelsea Jo, Andy, Kayla Jo, Caitlin, Kyle, Daniel, Reed, Justin, Adam and Matthew. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 am Monday February 9, 2009 at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 1441 Spear Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33948.
