Sara Evans

Sara Evans, 67, of Port Charlotte, FL died March 13, 2009. She was born November 20, 1941 in Moberly, Missouri and moved to this area July of 1989 from Zion, IL. She worked as a secretary at the First Presbyterian Church for a few years prior to becoming a Data Entry Clerk at the Neil Armstrong Elementary School from 1995 till retiring in 2007. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Punta Gorda, where she had been the church pianist for over thirteen years. She is survived by her husband of almost 49 years, Clifford "Al" Evans of Pt Charlotte, FL; daughters, Chris Ron Marcoguiseppe of Pt Charlotte, FL and Alison Jeffrey Green of Punta Gorda, FL, grandchildren, Brian, Curtis, Rachel, Evan, Taylor and Anthony and their families which includes 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Carolyn Rucker and sister-in-law, Theresa Rucker. The family will receive friends for a half hour prior to the funeral service at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Punta Gorda, 459 Gill Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 with burial to follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens.
