She was born October 9, 1911 in Bulger, West Virginia to Duran and Minnie Toney Mullins. She moved to the Englewood area in 1974 from Madison, West Virginia. She is survived by her son, Donald Charlotte Atkins of Merritt Island, Florida; her daughter, Evelyn A. Joseph Woodford of Englewood, Florida; her foster daughter, Joyce Murray of North Carolina; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Elbert E. Lares. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from Noon to 1:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at Lemon Bay Funeral Home Englewood Chapel.
