She was born June 20, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan to Leontios and Sophia Vlisides Pettikas. She moved to the Englewood area in 1991 from Southfield, Michigan. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Port Charlotte, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Angela S. Clowtis of Englewood; her sons, Vance Clowtis of Oklahoma, Leon A. Clowtis of Norwalk, Ohio, Christopher S. Clowtis of New London, Wisconsin; 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George Clowtis, her grandchildren, Leigh Ann Clowtis and Logan Clowtis. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with funeral services to follow at Lemon Bay Funeral Home Englewood Chapel. Burial will be in Michigan.
