David L. Hardman, 43, passed on to a better life on Oct 23, 2009 at the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego. He is survived by his wife, Suvimon Tani, his parents, Jack and Jackie of Englewood, FL, brother, Joseph P. of St Louis, two sisters, KatherineJoe McPhillips, Pamela John Hennessey, both of Boca Raton, FL. Two nephews, Austin, Adam Hennessey, Three nieces, Megan, Molly Hennessey and Alexandra McPhillips. David was a product of the NorthTonawanda, New York Public Schools and attended St. Bonaventure University in Olean, New York. He was born and grew up in North Tonawanda. He attended St Joseph Catholic Church. At North Tonawanda High he was in the band. He graduated in the class of 1984. David joined the Navy in 1987 retiring after 20 years as Machinist Mate First Class. He received 9 ribbons for meritorious work, noted for his expertise in refrigeration and air conditioning. His highlight was going to the Persian Gulf right after 911 for 7 months receiving a commendation for his ship's A/C never failing once. Visitation will be private. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.at St. Raphael's Church. David will be buried with full military honors ...[more]
