Curtis A. Morris, Jr, 63, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away March 23, 2010. He was born June 23, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio and moved to this area in 1992 from West Palm, FL. He served in the Army Reserves and had worked as a Fire Fighter in West Palm for seventeen years until moving to Punta Gorda. Locally, he was a Rural Route Carrier for the Murdock Postal Service Annex, retiring in 2006. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, air boating and spending time at his camp in the Everglades, which he owned for over thirty years.
He is survived by his wife Star Morris of Punta Gorda, FL; sons, Shawn Morris of Lakeworth, FL; Scott Brandi Morris of West Palm, FL; Bradley Janet Cunningham of Port Charlotte, FL and Bryan Cunningham of Leesburg, VA; grandchildren, Chaney Morris and Shayna Cunningham; a sister, Cathy Easley of West Palm, FL.
