Lydia P. Kohn

Surrounded by her family and wrapped in the arms of love, Lydia Concepción Pellon Kohn passed away on February 12, 2017 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was a light in the lives of her family and friends. Lydia was born on July 14, 1923 in Tucson, Arizona and is the eldest of four daughters born to Charles and Sarah Pellon. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Norman R. Kohn; her beloved son, Robert A. Kohn; and her sisters Hermelinda P. "Tiny" Bravo, Ida Pellon and her son in law Patrick I. Peters. She is survived by her three daughters, Marion (Bill) Bailey, Adrienne Peters, and Georgianne (Michael) Brown; and her sister, Grace Pellon Quinlan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stacey (Evan) Packer, Robin (David) Lubetkin, Sara (Jarett) Nasca, Whitney and Tyler Peters, Rebecca (Joe) LaGrasta, and Alexandra and Jessica Brown; her great grandchildren Julia and Isabella Packer, Andrew Cohen, Sophia and Olivia Nasca, and Avery and Presley LaGrasta; along with many nieces and nephews. A PRIVATE graveside service and interment will be held on Friday, February 17th, followed by a celebration of Lydia's life at the home of Marion and Bill Bailey. In lieu o...[more]
