Dorothy Marie Barber

Dorothy Marie Barber, 90, of Bothell, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017. She was born December 6, 1926 in Warren, OH, the daughter of the late John Arlie and Helen Marie (Goodard) Craver. Dorothy married John R. Barber in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1996. She attended Light of the Cross Lutheran Church, Bothell. Dorothy loved spending time with family and enjoyed reading, making cards, golfing, shopping, crafts and playing bridge. She is survived by her daughter Sue Piatt and husband John; two grandsons, Daniel Piatt, Chad Barber and wife Alesha; three great-grandchildren, Willy, J.J. and Braden; 4 nieces, 1 nephew and many friends who loved her. Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, William Barber; grandson, David K. Piatt, brother, William Craver, sister, Juanita Lester and a nephew, Clint Barber. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Lifetime Celebrations by Washelli, 18224 103rd Avenue NE, Bothell, WA 98011. [more]
