e had residences in Virginia, Florida, and Maine. Jenny and her life companion, Michele Matto, enjoyed traveling with and showing their Samoyeds in their RV. Other interests included bridge, golf, sailing and woodcarving. She was considered by everyone who knew her as one of the kindest, most loyal and caring of friends. She had a gentle nature that belied her competitiveness. Preceeded in death by George D. Young and Marion Young (parents) and brother Robert P. Young, Jenny is survived by Michele Matto, Riverwood in Port Charlotte, FL, and her children, Holly Matto (Chris Spera) and grandchildren Carter and Owen, Fairfax, VA; E.J Matto (Kathryn) and grandchildren Jason and Alexa, Chevy Chase, MD; Kevin Matto (Amy), and grandchildren Dax and Ranger, Greenwich, CT; Aaron Matto, San Francisco, CA; and her Wisconsin family, Flo Cootware, Greenleaf WI; Steve and Coleen Menden, Greenleaf, WI; and Kathleen Cootware, Manitowoc, WI. A scholarship at Worthington Kilbourne High School, Worthington, Ohio is being established in her name, The Jenny A. Young Scholarship. In lieu of flowers people may contribute to that, in c/o 14309 Silver Lakes Drive, Port Charlotte, FL 33953. A Celebration of Jenny's life will be held at Riverwood Activity Center, in Port Charlotte, FL on April 8 from 2-4 pm.
